We celebrate our third anniversary of podcasting with our Fourth Annual Thanksgiving Eve episode...We talk about the stress of trying to keep up with Christmas movies, we discuss reading challenges, and reading War and Peace. Then we dive into a potpourri of topics including slang, Shakespeare, common place books, and whatever else floats into our mids

It's a very special episode of "Our Little Talks"! In our landmark 25th episode we ignore our moratorium on talking about Star Wars and find some nice things to say about each of the 11 Star Wars films! Sit back and relax as we each pick things we like about each movie beginning with The Phantom Menace and working chronologically up to The Rise of Skywalker.

This week we discuss our thoughts on the new Indiana Jones film, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

In our longest episode ever, we discuss our latest trip to the greatest city in the world, New York City. We talk about our two days of exploring the city including visits to Governor's Island, Chinatown, Central Park West, and Grant's Tomb. We also give our thoughts on seeing the Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd starring Josh Groban and read one star customer reviews of some of the places we visited.

In our historic 22nd Episode we discuss a list of 10 things podcasters do that supposedly annoy their listeners, high school graduation, and we get highfalutin as Dad talks about reading Moby-Dick and other classic novels and we read a few poems. Next we talk about seeing Raiders of the Lost Ark at a local movie theater and how movie making has changed in the last 40 years. Then we wrap things up with Dad getting depressed, because he is sick of Star Wars finding its way into our conversations. 

Surprise! We are back! After a four-month hiatus we return with our longest episode ever! In this episode we discuss why we have not been recording We talk about our various illnesses, reading War and Peace, Roald Dahl and censorship, Prince Harry's audiobook, and the Beetlejuice musical. We also discuss efforts to reduce screen time and live in the real world. We finish the episode also covering other topics as they cross our minds.

It's our 20th episode and our third annual Thanksgiving Eve episode. In this episode we go off the cuff and cover numerous topics. We talk about Corinna's first trip to the voting polls during the mid-term elections, what fans of the TV show "Glee" should be called, and how awful the Saturday morning shows from Dad's childhood were. We then talk about humans' false belief in the nobility of wild animals, how there used to be only one notable tap dancer at a time, and the names that celebrity characters were given on "The Flintstones." We then wrap things up with a discussion of the movie The Bishop's Wife, everyone's belief that the decades they grew up in were the best, and a discussion on whether calling chicken "yardbirds" is a cultural or regional creation.

In this episode, we discuss Halloween and what we like and do not like about the holiday. We also talk about the 1931 version of Frankenstein and movie remakes. We wrap up the show with a talk about Cobra Kai season five and TV shows needing to be cancelled after their fifth season.

After a three month hiatus we return with a lot of random discussions, but specifically talk about the museum exhibit "The Art of the Disney Costume," Dad talks about cutting back his mobile phone use time, and tries to praise "Top Gun:Maverick" before blowing a gasket over the absence of USB ports on his computer. There is some discussion about "Lord of the Rings" and "Rings of Power" and a few concerts. Dad gives a short Bible study about the treatment of the poor, and then he praises the writing of Cormac McCarthy and reads a portion of "Blood Meridian"

In our long awaited 17th episode we discuss going to a lot of concerts this summer, we give a rundown of our Spring Break trip from March, we endure technical difficulties, and then we briefly discuss Disney's "Obi-Wan Kenobi" show.
